Where are you located?

We are in South Hykeham, if you come off the A46 roundabout towards Hykeham, turn right at McDonalds, carry on passed Soper BMW towards the yellow and blue units and follow The Craft Unit sign directly in front. You will see our logo in the window ahead.

What age groups do you offer to?
​
We offer a variety of groups for babies and toddlers aged 0-4 years during term time and for children up to the age of 10 during half terms and holidays.

Do I need to stay with my child during the session?
​
Yes, I will be available throughout the whole session for direction and support if needed. We are not able to offer childcare services and are not responsible for the care of your child whilst you are in the studio. A parent or caregiver must remain within view of their children at all times. We are hoping drop-off sessions will be possible in the future.

What is your cancellation policy?
​
We kindly ask that 24 hours notice is given if you can no longer attend your session booking. This gives us the chance to offer your position to another child on the waiting list. If notice is provided by email or telephone 24 hours before your booked session (not through social media as these can often be missed), we can amend your session to another date/time, unfortunately we do not offer refunds.

Do I have to book a session to attend?

Yes, due to us being a small venue we only have limited spaces and these are available through online booking on our website. Any problems with bookings please send us an email at hello@scribbledbycarrie.co.uk!

Is there space to store my pushchair during the session?
​
During the nice weather there is a grass area outside our door which your pram will be absolutely fine. Unfortunately, we do not have a safe place inside to store pushchairs.

Where can I park?
​
FREE parking on site. Please park in any of the car parking bays across the site.
​

What do we need to wear?
​
It is very likely that your child will get messy, we do use washable products however, as you probably know from home not all art resources are as washable as they say they are!!! So please wear old clothes you don't mind getting a little messy! All visitors are required to remove shoes before entering the studio area. Socks must be worn. Aprons are also available.

What if I am late to our booked session?
​
You may arrive at any time through your booked session but we do kindly ask that all visitors leave at the end of the hour session, this is to allow us time to clean up and prepare for the rest of the sessions.

Do you have changing facilities?
​
We have a changing table in the toilet area with a small supply of spare nappies/wipes for you to use if needed.
​

What if my child has an allergy?
​
Please fill out the allergy section on your booking form. We do try to use materials which are suitable for all, but if there's something we need to avoid due to an allergy and we are made aware, we can change some of the ingredients for your child's session.
