Hello, I'm Carrie.
My name is Carrie, I am a mum of three children aged five, two and one years old! I have nine years experience of working in primary, secondary and special schools, mainly as a School Business Manager.
I was inspired to open a Creative Studio to give families a fantastic space to spend time together, learning and playing, as well as saving our home interior from the stains of paint & glitter glue.
Play is such an important part of a child's development stage in early childhood. Playing helps young children's brains to develop and for their language and communication skills to mature. Not only do we want to provide a space in the community for your children to thrive and enjoy, I want you as a parent to enjoy coming to our studio, watching your children socialise with others and have the opportunity to engage with other parents in the Lincoln area.
My mission is to give your kids the space to engage all of their interests, explore different activities, interact with other children of a similar age and enjoy the creativity and freedom of childhood play, which is so important and we are so passionate about at The Craft Unit. We're here to give you more of the magic and less of the mess in your own home!
